In search of a definition for “Postnational”

Two weeks ago I posted a request for submissions to find a definition for the term “postnational.” This was the first act of the Postnational Foundation, a political organization dedicated to promoting and executing ideas relating to postnationalism.

I realize this was a rather absurd exercise—creating an ambiguous organization in search of its own definition—but I’m pleased with the responses so far. The Foundation will be conducting many more such personal interventions, so it was an appropriate way to begin. Over time I hope this will all make more sense.

Thanks to those willing to be a little intellectually adventurous and helping to get this thing started.
